The WWW tag runs weekly on Sam’s blog, each W stands for a different ‘What’ to summarise you’re last week in books.

Happy December everyone! (And if you’re in England, happy end of Lockdown 2.0 – we made it!)
What are you currently reading?
My first Christmas themed read of 2020 is Calm Christmas and a Happy New Year, I’m really enjoying this; its very grounding I think particularly important for this year when the world is particularly strange.
I’m continuing with Love and Other Thought Experiments, this is requiring more concentration that I first thought – not a bad thing, I just can’t read it while the TV is on.
After really enjoying the audiobook of Summerwater last week I decided to revisit Ghost Wall on audio; if anything this is even more harrowing via audio than when I read it.
What have you recently finished?
Completely unintentional but two books by the same author this week; Summerwate and Names for the Sea are both by Sarah Moss; I think I need to read more by this author so let me know if you have a recommendation for what to try next.
What will you read next?
I’m aiming to make a start on one of the festive anthologies I have lined up so Christmas Days or A Literary Christmas: An Anthology and to stop myself from going too hard, too fast on the Christmas reading I think I’ll pick back up Thank You, Next which I failed to start properly during Galleyathon.
