Book Blogger Hop ~ 13th November 2020

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

This week’s prompt was submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews

What is your favourite social media and why?

I have a difficult relationship with social media, its a great companion but its also great at stealing my time and making my mind spin in overdrive.

That being said my go to is Instagram, I don’t really run a Bookstagram, just a personal account but I follow a variety of people (a few less due to a recent mass unfollow to try and reduce the noise) The link to my account is the sidebar if you fancy a nose, the account is private but I’m very happy to accept any new followers, its just to prevent spam.

The reason I’d say Instagram is my favourite is how much you get from a photo, yes there are stories and reels and IGTV etc but at its core its photos. More than that, its a collection of photo memories and I love scrolling through my own feed at the memories that were so happy or nice that I wanted to share them (and also cringe at some of the things past me thought she needed to share!)
