Book, Haul, Review

October 2020 ~ Book Haul

Another month, another list of books I’ve bought, let me know if you’ve read any of these or have any of them of your TBR list, I’m planning on having a harder push at not buying new books ahead of any 2021 TBR plans.

A Boy Called Christmas ~ Yes I’ve started looking at Christmas books and planning my December TBR, this is one of Matt Haig’s Christmas books for children but I’m sure I’ll still love it!

Perfectly Impossible ~ Amazon First Reads spoilt us in October, allowing Prime members to pick two books from October’s list for free; I picked both my choices based purely on the covers.

Spellbreaker ~ My second October Amazon First Reads book and another total cover pick.

Normal People ~ This was one of my favourite books last year so when I saw it on a Kindle daily sale I decided to pick it up in Kindle format as well.

Christmas Days: 12 Stories and 12 Feasts for 12 Days ~ Another festive themed book I’ll be saving for December, this was recommended to me towards the end of last year.

What Doesn’t Kill You ~ This came from my Unbound Reading Club membership whereby I get sent a digital book each month. This membership is only £25 a year and also includes free shipping on any book pledges made via Unbound.

Lampedusa ~ My Reposed book for September, I’m a bit behind on these monthly books, maybe this needs to be one of my next challenges?

Glorious Rock Bottom ~ I’ve read and really enjoyed most of Bryony Gordon’s books so had to pick this up when I saw it in a Kindle daily deal.

Handle With Care ~ By now I’m sure you’re picked up that I’m a bit of a sucker for a medical memoir, this one is from an NHS health visitor and I’m not expecting to it be a completely comfortable read.

Will I Ever Pee Alone Again? ~ This poetry book is from Emma Conway or BrummyMummyOf2 on YouTube who I’ve followed for a while, I’ve got a feeling this will be hilarious!

Mexican Gothic ~ I picked this up rather impulsively yesterday from Amazon Kindle Daily Deals as this seems to be everywhere at the moment.
