At the start of the year I signed up for the Audiobook Challenge 2020 via Caffinated Review, the aim is simple, listen to more audiobooks!
I set myself an initial goal of reaching the level of “Socially Awkward” by listening to 15 – 20 audiobooks throughout the year but what I didn’t anticipate was how quickly I would be converted to audiobooks!
I’ve been listening to audiobooks through my library using the Libby and Borrow Box apps, I’d really encourage you to check if your library offers any kind of digital library. The slight downside is that you are at the mercy of hold times, I put some holds on books which were nicely spread out then suddenly three arrived on my shelf on the same day so I had to priortise a little bit as I was never going to listen to all of them within the three weeks. I’ve also signed up for Audible am enjoying building up a little library of my favourite books in audio form.

I’d love to hear about when everyone listens to their audiobooks, for me its typically on my commute which is a combination of driving and waking and sometimes while I’m at my desk. When do you find the time?
You’ve prompted me to update my challenge page. Oops!
I know what you mean, Elizabeth, I’m definitely listening to more audiobooks this year. I now seem to have two books on the go, an ebook and an audiobook. I already achieved my goal of Awkward Reader earlier in the year. I’m now excited to see what my total will be for the whole year.

It’s such a great way of having another book on the go, I’m currently not listening to any audiobooks to catch up on podcasts but looking forward to starting the next one 🙂

I’m not sure what’ll be up next on my audiobook playlist. Enjoy the podcasts, Elizabeth.
