The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.
This week’s prompt was submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews
Do you look at your shelves and stacks of books and wonder how you have ever read so many books?
Yes! While I’m writing this I’ve currently read 109 books in 2020 and I’ve got no idea how I’ve managed that many. At the moment I feel like I’m struggling to find long chunks of time to read but based on that number I have been making time!
I don’t tend to keep many physical books once I’ve finished them unless they are a favourite or special edition but I do have a folder on my Kindle for books I’ve finished, I think this folder is getting close to having 500 books in it – what I find quite amazing about that is that while that sounds like a really high number I will probably still never get through all the books I want to read throughout my life!
Little bit more philosophical than I meant to get with this weeks question – hope you all have a great weekend!
I’m fully with you on having a TBR list that I’ll probably never conquer.

I get overwhelmed if I stop and think about how much I read. It’s so many!

I liked this week’s question, as I don’t usually think about the number of books I’ve read. I’ve been an avid reader since childhood, so I dread to think about what my number would be.
Since moving away from printed books and onto Kindle and Audible, my physical piles are much reduced though. *phew*
