Book, Haul

July 2020 ~ Book Haul

Doing these haul posts is really bringing to my attention how many books are making their way through my “I’m not really buying many books at the moment” words; it would appear I’m not being 100% honest with myself. Below are all the books I’ve acquired since my last haul post, most are Kindle books except for the book which came in my Reposed box.

Covers of the books listed below

Skincare∆  ~ In June I turned 29, a few days later this book caught my eye on twitter, one of my ‘resolutions’ for turning 29 I’d already decided would be to use eyecream – I’m hoping this book will help me work out if there’s anything else missing from my skincare routine, maybe I’ll even find out what a retanoid is?

Breakfast In Bogotá ~ The July Unbound Reading Club book, this sounds very intriguing and not one I’d have probably picked up otherwise.

Ordinary People∆  ~ I heard a lot about this last year when it was nominated for the Women’s Prize for Fiction so am hoping to pick it up soon.

Dominicana ~ I picked this up after hearing Anna at The Anna Edit rave about this book.

Silver Sparrow ~ This is from the same author as An American Marriage which I really enjoyed earlier this year so for £1.99 on kindle I jumped at the chance to read some more of her work.

Rival Sisters ~ My Prime Reading selection for July, this was very much a cover pick as none of the others really interested me.

How Do We Know We’re Doing It Right? ~ I had this on audible pre-order as its read by the author Pandora Sykes who also presents The HighLow podcast.

The Other’s Gold ~ This was in my July Reposed box, you can see the rest of the contents here.

Brit(ish) ~ Another book I’ve heard a lot about recently, I’d planned on listening to this via my library audiobook app but missed my hold while on holiday with limited internet so have just bought a Kindle copy instead.

Have you read any of these? Are any of them on your TBR?
