The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy @ Ramblin
gs of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.
This week’s prompt was submitted by Kristin @ Lukten av Trykksverte
Do you visit indie and/or used bookstores? Also, have you ever worked in any?
My pretty boring answers these questions are not really and no.
At the start of this year I read The Bookshop Book by Jen Campbell and it filled me with excitement about visiting smaller/independent/used bookstores.
We were due to travel to Yorkshire for a little coastal break in March and I’d done research on lovely little bookshops around Whitby/Scarborough/York. I’m sure you can see where this is going, COVID hit and the trip was cancelled. Fingers crossed we can rearrange soon and those shop will have reopened.
I’d love to hear you anyone has any recommendations of great bookstores to check out in the UK!
I love to visit indie bookstores when we travel. I have found cool ones in Europe and other states in the US. ❤️

I pop into my local charity shops to find pre-loved books, I’ve got a Waterstones where I love but COVID19 has moved my shopping online. 😉
