The WWW tag runs weekly on Sam’s blog, each W stands for a different ‘What’ to summarise you’re last week in books.

So I ended up taking a bit of an unplanned break from this blog – work has been particularly crazy for the last two months and unfortunately something had to give. I hope everyone is still doing ok, my reading has been a bit all over the place the last few weeks but I thought a WWW would be a great way to dive back into posting.
What are you currently reading?
Currently on the go I have Just Friends, a light-hearted romance; Too Fat, Too Slutty, Too Loud, a random pick I started on my Kindle a few days ago, a non-fiction about how women are perceived by the media. On audio I’m listening Go Set a Watchman as this has been on my Goodreads shelf for years! Honestly, I’m feeling in a bit of a reading rut at the moment, none of the book I’m currently reading are massively inspiring yet none are in any way bad
What have you recently finished?
Another book I’d been wanting to read for ages and finally got around to in audio form, Girl, Woman, Other – this won the Man Booker last year and has been shortlisted for the Women’s Prize 2020 and I can see why, these intertwining stories of a variety of women’s lives was almost addictive. I read The Vegetarian after hearing about it on the Books Unbound podcast, I really enjoyed the first third of this and then for me it kind of fell apart a bit.
What will you read next?
All being well The Starless Sea! Some of you may remember that a physical copy is actually waiting for me on the reserve shelf of my local library but I was unable to collect it before the libraries closed and the UK entered lockdown. Since then I’ve been waiting for the audio copy and just over two months later I’m due to get it this weekend! Though I am now a little worried that this whole thing will have made my expectations even higher than they were before.

Totally unrelated, how did you do the related posts on at the end? I’m using the same theme, but haven’t figured it out yet.
I’ve heard good about the Starless Sea. Enjoy!

I don’t actually remember turning this on but I’ve had a quick look at my settings and if you go into Tools >> Plugins and see if the Related Posts by Jetpack plugin is active. Fingers crossed that works for you 🙂

My bookclub read Starless Sea a few months ago but when I didn’t finish the book in time for the meeting I just never got around to finishing it. I didn’t DNF it – I just need to pick it back up again.
And welcome back! I’m hoping that this post means your life has slowed down even marginally.
Have a great week! Molly @ http://silverbuttonbooks.com/2020/05/27/www-wednesday-may-27-2020/
