Book, Tag

WWW Wednesday ~ 22nd April 2020

The WWW tag runs weekly on Sam’s blog, each W stands for a different ‘What’ to summarise you’re last week in books.

WWW Wednesday

Really hope everyone is doing ok, I’m continuing with the OWLs readathon which spans all of April and last weekend was the Stay Home Reading Rush so all of my read books are related to prompts from one of those.

What are you currently reading?

I’m currently aiming to tick off the last two OWLs prompts by finishing Quiet and The Spare Bedroom; I didn’t initially plan on completing all twelve prompts but with more time spent at home than planned its looking like I might be able to complete the full set.

What have you recently finished?

For the Stay Home Reading Rush I read The Tales of Beedle the Bard, Harry Potter & The Philospher’s Stone  and The Tell-Tale Heart; the last one also ticks off another OWLs prompt. I’ve also recently finished The Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy on audio and Wolf by Wolf  both of which I really enjoyed.

What will you read next?

I have quite a few Netgalley ARCs which have been released or are coming out in May so I’ll be picking up Coffee and Environment which are both part of a new series of ‘Object Lessons’ from Bloomsbury all about everyday things, there’s a real variety in the series so most likely you’d find one in the list to interest you.  I’m also hoping to get to Fragile, a medical memoir of an ER doctor.

Did/are you taking part in the OWLs or Stay Home Reading Rush?
