The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.
This week’s prompt was submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews
Do you have more photos of books you saw in a bookstore or elsewhere or family photos on your phone?
My pretty straightforward answer to this is family.
Though if I’m being honest at the moment there are more photos of knitting projects than my family. I don’t really use photos to track books I’m interested in; if I see/hear about a book that sounds interesting I’ll either mark it as ‘Want to Read’ on Goodreads or add to an Amazon wishlist. I then check the Amazon list every now and again to see if anything has been reduced or if there’s anything I’ve lost interest in. This system seems to work well to reduce impulse buying and also means that around Christmas time or my birthday if anyone asks for ideas for presents I can send then the wishlist.
How do you organise your TBR?
I use Goodreads and Amazon for that too. Much more efficient 😊

I use Amazon wish list lists too but leave my Goodreads want-to-read shelf for the books I’ve actually got so that it’s an up-to-date TBR list.
In answer to the BBH question: I’ve got more photos of family and friends on my phone than books. 😉
I hope you enjoy the rest of your week, stay safe and healthy.
Here’s my BBH Post
