Book Blogger Hop ~ 27th March 2020

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

This week’s prompt was submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

Share a photo of one section of your bookshelf randomly selected or go ahead and share the entire bookshelf.

So, for this post I was quite tempted to tidy/sort my bookshelf before taking a photo but that’s cheating right? This bookshelf sits behind our sofa and also serves as a storage place for my knitting projects as I’m terrible for having one than one project on the go at once.

We have an IKEA Billy bookcase, it’s one of the shorter ones as when we bought it we were in a rented house and we’re able to fix things to the wall; the top shelf is too small for any books so just houses ‘bits’ such as a few small photo album, bookmarks, handcream etc. Later this year I’d like to get a taller one as we have other books scattered throughout the house which it would be good to have in one place.

As you can see from this, I don’t have any kind of system apart from grouping similar books together so it’s not the most aesthetic bookshelf.

I look forward to seeing everyone’s highly organised, categorised shelves!
