Reposed is a monthly book subscription box costing £12.80 (including postage) each month you’ll receive a book as well as a few extra items which are usually food/drink and beauty related. I started my subscription in January and thought I’d share my unboxing with you.
Like last month my box arrived on 19th of the month in letterbox friendly packaging. The book you’ll receive will be a new release paperback, so there is a risk if the book has come out earlier in hardcover or digital format you may have picked it up in one of those formats.
The book I received this month was The Little Snake by A.L. Kennedy, which has over a four star average rating on Goodreads and has won a Costa Prize.
In terms of value I was really happy with what we got in this box, if you take the shipping into account you’re paying around £10 for a new paperback and some extra treats; unlike some other subscription boxes I’ve had in the past they don’t specify what each item in the box is worth but from a bit of online research I’ve found the prices below.
- Floral Compact Mirror (exclusive to this box)
Joe’s Tea Co. Tea Bag (£3.95 for 15 teabags)
kacao chocolaterie Geranium 50g bar (£3.99 for 100g)
Vitamasques Lip Mask (£4.99 for 1 mask)
Regardless of when you sign up you’ll get the next month’s box, so if you were to sign up today your first box would be the April one.
I was so pleased to see this box come through the letterbox, it was exactly the pickmeup I needed after such a strange week of accelerating messages around COVID-19. Like many others I’ll be working from home and generally staying inside a lot more for the foreseeable so not much could be better than a new book, some chocolate and a facemask, though I’ve never tried a lip mask but I’ll give it a go!
