Today’s Question ~ What Is Your Favorite Way of Reading a Book? (from Aria @ Book Nook Bits)
I love reading on the go, if I have a plane, car (as a passenger) or train journey (assuming I can get a seat) I love being able to read for a longer period of time without any guilt of not getting other jobs done. Air travel is perfect for this as I can’t even be distracted by my phone. If you’re reading this on the morning it’s published then I was meant to be sat on a plane reading right now, however, I decided to cancel my weekend away last minute due to the restrictions on travel some countries are putting in place, I’m really disappointed but I didn’t fancy getting stuck or having to self-isolate.
If I’m on to go then I’ll usually reach for my kindle, I love that I can keep reading regardless of the light conditions and if I don’t fancy reading the same book for several hours I can switch it up very easily.
Which brings me to another habit/preference of mine; multiple books at once, usually one of each format, so I’ll be reading a physical book which will mainly stay in my living room at home, a kindle book and since the start of this year an audiobook. I do try and keep the books different, so if I’m reading a non-fiction physical book I’ll keep to fiction with my other choices.
I’m looking forward to seeing how everyone else has interpreted this topic. Do you have a favourite format or a specific reading spot?
I also enjoy the mobility of a kindle, however I do like the feeling and comfort of reading a physical book. Great post!
