Podcasts have taken a little bit of a backseat recently as I’ve really been enjoying audiobooks but I still wanted to share some that I’ve really enjoyed lately. As usual all the links below are for PocketCaster which is my preferred podcast app for android and desktop, but all episodes should be available for whichever your platform of choice is.
Fake Heiress ~ A six part podcast which tells the story of Anna Delvey, I first heard about Anna through a Ctrl Alt Delete interview with Rachel DeLoache Williams, one of the people who fell victim to Anna’s lies about being about to come into a trust fund and setting up the Anna Delvey foundation. I listened to all the episodes over three days, I found the story so addictive. I wasn’t the biggest fan of some of the dramatisation and during episode one I thought I might stop listening because of it but as the podcast developed some of these snippets were more believable as people involved, including Rachel were interviewed. After listening to this I’ll be keeping an eye out for Rachel’s book about the events.
So Lucky ~ Clara Francis ~ In this episode Clara mainly discusses her experience losing a child, it was heartbreaking to listen to but I’d really recommend giving it a listen.
Fit & Fearless ~ Sustainable Fashion and Minimalism ~ Into its sixth (I think) season its great to see Fit and Fearless talking about other issues the girls are really passionate about; I particularity enjoyed this episode with Madeline Olivia, she shared her experiences with minimalising her life and loved how she approached this really realistically and acknowledged that for most people ditching all their belongings in one swoop is just not possible.
