Top Ten Tuesday is a tag hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each Tuesday there’s a different topic up for discussion; you can see a full list of topics on her blog.
This week it’s Books On My TBR I Predict Will Be 5-Star Reads. I actually struggled to pull together a list of ten, mainly because I don’t throw 5 stars ratings around unless I absolutely love a book. Some of these are from my 2020 Anticipated Releases post from January, others are ones I’ve been meaning to get to for a while.
Olive ~ Out in June, this is at the top of my birthday wishlist.
Ghosts ~ Not released until October there’s still a while to be excited for this.
The Starless Sea ~ I’m currently 24th in my library reserves queue for this.
The Book Thief ~ One I’m hoping to read in the next month or so
The Switch ~ Out in April I have an eARC of this I’m very excited about
The Guilty Feminist ~ I’ve had this since it came out and just haven’t got round to it, I love the podcast though, so hoping this is similar
The Heart’s Invisible Furies ~ A recommendation from Lauren and the Books on YouTube that just sounds like something I’m going to love.
Little Bandaged Days ~ This jumped quite high on my TBR shelf after seeing it reviewed on Books on the 7:47
Such a Fun Age ~ Seems like this book is everywhere at the moment, I’m 50-something-th in the library queue for this so will probably have a few months to wait to get my hands on it.
Conversations with Friends ~ I loved Normal People by Sally Rooney so I’m crossing my fingers for enjoying this one
What books on your TBR are you most excited by? Are there any that you already know you’ll love?
I’m on a super long library waitlist for The Guilty Feminist. It sounds very good.

I loved The Book Thief enough that I wrote my thesis about it. I hope these turn out to be 5 stars!

The Book Thief sometimes gets mixed reviews, but I loved it. The first half is definitely a slow-build, but the second half had me glued. Happy Reading!
