This post runs weekly on Sam’s blog but I’m using it as a mid-month check in.
What are you currently reading?
I’ve just started Cilka’s Journey, the follow up to The Tattooist of Auschwitz and am still reading You Look Like a Thing and I Love You, a book about some of the challenges and oddities going on in the AI world, I am enjoying it but non-fiction generally takes me a bit longer to read.
What have you recently finished?
I finally got round to starting The Gloaming which I mentioned last month, I enjoyed it but I don’t think it will be particularly memorable, on the same day I also finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo which I really enjoyed
What will you read next?
Honestly, I’m unsure. I have some more festive books lined up for December but what I’ll start next will probably depend on how I’m feeling and where I am once I’ve finished my current reads.
Have you read any of these? If so, what did you think? If you fancy picking up any of these books with free worldwide shipping take a look at my affiliate link. You’ll pay the exact same price and I’ll receive a small commission in return.
Glad to hear you’re enjoying everything you’ve been reading. I have been kind of disappointed by my books this week. Loved Evelyn Hugo though. Have you read Daisy Jones? I thought that one was even better.

I read Daisy Jones in September and really enjoyed it! I loved the way they worked the interview format between characters and they all remembered some events slightly differently 🙂

That’s what I loved about it too. It seemed so real that way, each character having their own views.

I cannot wait to get into all the festival books and dive into that December related joy! I still haven’t had The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo but people love it, I’ll probably pick it up in 2020.

I may end up starting some festive themed books slightly early if I’m not drawn to anything else! Evelyn Hugo is well worth a go in my opinion 🙂
