This post runs weekly on Sam’s blog but I’m using it as a mid-month check in. I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump the last couple of weeks so a few of these were also mentioned last month!
What are you currently reading?
I’m still making my way through The Night Watch which I mentioned last month, I am really enjoying it but I’m finding I want to dedicate decent lengths of time to it that I’m just not getting the chance for. I’m also reading Autumn by Ali Smith because it finally felt seasonably appropriate.
What have you recently finished?
At the weekend I finish No One Is Too Small To Make A Difference, a collection of Greta Thunberg’s speeches and You Can’t Judge a Book By Its Murder which is a small town murder mystery due to be released at the end of the month.
What will you read next?
The Gloaming out of the library so hopefully I’ll get round to that soon but right now I’m definitely got the feeling of too many books and not enough time.
Have you read any of these? If so, what did you think? If you fancy picking up any of these books with free worldwide shipping take a look at my affiliate link. You’ll pay the exact same price and I’ll receive a small commission in return.
You Can’t Judge a Book by Its Murder sounds intriguing!! Those poor small towns are always being haunted by murders.

I definitely want to read You Can’t Judge a Book By Its Murder. I hope you enjoyed it! What do you think of the Ali Smith read so far? I tried to read her a few years back and didn’t enjoy it much. I was thinking of giving her another try. Have a great week of reading! Here’s my WWW: https://greatmorrisonmigration.wordpress.com/2019/10/16/www-wednesdays-october-16-2019/

I’m about halfway through Autumn and so far I’m enjoying it but I did find the style of writing took a little time to get used it – definitely has an autumn-y feel to it 🙂

Maybe my issues was her style of writing. I think I will give her another try at some point.
