Having met my Goodreads goal of 70 books at the end of July, this might be the point where I’m meant to find a new hobby for the rest of the year but I’m not sure that’s going to happen.
A Politically Incorrect Feminist* – The sub-title drew me into this, I’m already part way through and while I’ve never heard of the author before there’s some really interesting stories within it.
The Diary of Anne Frank – I’ve actually never read this, not even the shortened version so when it was 99p back in July I thought it was about time.
Dr Jekyll and Mr Seek* – After reading the original last month I found this on Netgalley, set seven years after Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic I’m intrigued to see what direction this goes in.
The Phoenix Project – At a quarterly all department meeting last month I managed to tell my CIO that I was definitely going to read this, so I thought it was best to just on the off chance he remembers I said it!
When I Hit You – This was nominated for the 2018 Bailey’s Women’s Fiction prize and while it didn’t win, this was the one on the shortlist that caught my eye.
