At first glances, this looks like a very optimistic list but I’ve already started three of these and I have a 3hour solo flight towards the end of the month.
The Power – I bought this as a birthday present to myself back in June convinced I would pick it up straight away…always with the good intentions, I almost read it last month but decided against reading it straight after The Handmaid’s Tale to avoid a dystopian binge.
Hot Mess – After listening to Emma Gannon’s Crtl Alt Delete episode with Lucy Vine I jumped straight on Amazon and picked this up (for 99p 😃 ) I started this about 2 days ago and really enjoying it so far.
Johnathon Strange & Mr Norell – This is my RFP Goodreads group fiction read for August/September, it’s quite heavy going and I’m only about a third of the way through but with a flight coming up later this month I’m hoping I can power through.
Anne of Green Gables – Another RFP read, I remember having the audio book of this when I was younger so I’m looking forward to a hit of nostalgia when I get round to this.
The Cuckoo’s Calling – Following my Harry Potter binge a couple of months ago, I’ve decided to try and read a Robert Galbraith book a month between now and November then possibly follow up with The Casual Vacancy in December for a full JK Rowling re-read.
All That She Can See – My reservation for this should be coming into the library soon (fingers crossed)
Eat Sweat Play – I’m dual purposing this one as both an A-Z challenge read and a recommendation that I wouldn’t normally pick up
