May 2017 TBR

Keeping the (planned)  list quite short this month in the hope I’ll get further with Wise Man’s fear but let’s see how distracted I get!

The Wise Man’s Fear – After not getting very far with this in April I’m determined to get back on this one asap.

Shylock is my name – Hogarth Shakespeare number 2,  a retelling of the merchant of Venice, already most of the way through this one and I’m not loving it so far.

The Colour Purple – after accidentally requesting the spark notes for this my library hold for the actual novel has arrived 🙂

Lolita – this will be May’s book to tick of my 2017 ‘Must Actually Finally Get Round To’ TBR, after listening to the Banging BookClub Podcast review of this I’m prepared to be disturbed.

The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo – After watching Amy Schumer’s stand up on Netflix this has jumped up the queue to be read.
