This might look like a short list but I’m planning on tackling a fairly chunky book in April
Bridget Jones’s Baby: The Diaries – Carried over from the end of March
Nina is not OK – Insert another ‘my library reservation has come through yay’ this was the Banging Book Club’s read in March and I reserved it straight away after listening to the podcast review, mainly out of curiosity of reading some of Shappi Korsandi’s writing.
The Wise Man’s Fear – Tome Topple is back! For those not familiar this is a Readathon hosted by Sam from Thoughts of Tomes which focuses on reading tomes over 500 pages. The third instalment is running 7th – 20th April and I’m using it as motivation to pick up the second book in the Kingkiller Chronicles, which is a rather scary 996 pages.
Doing It – Hannah Witton’s book comes out this month, I have a kindle copy of pre-order so I’m looking forward to jumping into this when it arrives.
Midnight in the garden of good and evil – this my Goodreads group non-fiction read for April/May, I managed to get a copy from my library but I’m not 100% sure I’m going to read it, the summary hasn’t struck me as something I would enjoy but I’ll definatly give the first couple of chapters a go and see how I get on.
The Kite Runner – this is my Goodreads group fiction pick for April, like the non-fiction book this month I’m not so sure this is my kind of thing but I have a copy reserved on the off chance that I have time to read anything else after Wise Man’s Fear.
